A large company is seeking an experienced Technical Lead to oversee the development of its SAP HCM landscape, focusing on custom developments for HR processes. The role involves technical design, team guidance, and ensuring application quality.
Project overview
What it's about: A large company with its own SAP HCM landscape (on-premise) is further developing its HR processes with custom developments, including around HR Service Delivery. An experienced person is sought to be responsible for the technical side: designing solutions, technically guiding the development team, and ensuring that the applications remain clean, maintainable, and performant.

- Technical design of new HR applications and extensions in SAP HCM
- Development with ABAP, BOPF, CDS Views, and OData services
- Definition of development guidelines, reviews, quality assurance
- Coordination with the HR department and other teams
- Technical support and further development of the developers in the team
- Several years of ABAP development in the SAP HCM environment (on-premise)
- Practical experience with BOPF, CDS Views, and OData
- Experience with SAP HR Service Delivery
- Experience in a technical lead or architect role
- Very good German and English skills
- Residence in Germany
- Start: November 2026
- Duration: approx. 12 months, extension possible
- Utilization: Full-time
- Location: predominantly remote, occasionally on-site in NRW
