Technical Project Manager Avionics - Focus on Software, Greater Ulm-Bodensee Area

Project overview

As an experienced project manager with a focus on complex projects in the aviation sector, you will manage demanding projects with confidence. We are looking for an experienced project manager for project management in the avionics sector in the greater Ulm-Bodensee area.

The task includes the control/controlling of internal and external work packages and ensuring the implementation of results in terms of time, cost, and quality. This also includes the management of development activities according to the V-model and the methods of Requirement Based Engineering, including integration, verification, and validation activities up to customer acceptance.

In close cooperation with internal and external suppliers, you will ensure implementation according to the relevant specific aviation specifications and processes, including risk management and any necessary mitigations.

You will report to program management or development management and coordinate closely with the responsible parties of the various disciplines, taking into account customer specifications, aviation authority standards, and company-specific requirements.

As an experienced project manager, you have good knowledge of common PM tools and Office/organization tools.

You have already successfully managed aerospace development projects with a significant software component and have a strong software engineering background with a technical/scientific university degree (STEM). You have experience with aerospace standards and processes, particularly DO-178C, ARP4754A, or comparable standards.

You have very good written and spoken German and English skills.
