• Test Coordination (responsible for test preparation and execution):
• Lead role in test preparation and execution for larger test teams
• Creation of test and capacity planning
• Continuous prioritization & organization of all test tasks
• Continuous reporting of test progress (test statistics) to test management
• Identification and removal of test obstacles
• Creation of effort estimations
• Ensuring the quality of test execution / execution of tests
• Creation and moderation of presentations in the subject area
• Test Design (responsible for test catalog / created test cases):
• Analysis of relevant documents (e.g., business concepts, backlogs, IT concepts, features/user stories in Jira, etc.) and derivation of test designs
• Creation of test scenarios and test cases based on existing requirements (e.g., business concepts, backlogs, IT concepts, etc.)
• Identification and procurement/generation of test data based on the business concept
• Advising the client on test design
• Test Execution (subjecting software/applications to precise control and testing regarding their functionality, quality of error documentation):
• Testing of software provided by development for functional and non-functional requirements
• End-to-end tests of developed test cases and recording/documentation of defects
• Written documentation of all test results as well as all malfunctions in a test report
• Consultation on the strategy for software/application correction, in cooperation with the project or the client
• Processing of test catalogs specified by the business department
• Independent use of specific test tools

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in test preparation (test design) and functional test execution
• ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level
• Practical experience from 3 projects in collaboration with business departments and IT
• Very good knowledge from 3 projects of test methods and their application in agile and classic software development processes
• Experience from 3 projects in testing and coordinating cross-application (end-to-end) test scenarios/business processes
• SHOULD-HAVE criteria:
• Experience in large, cross-application IT projects (1 project)
• Very good German spoken and written (Min. 3 years of experience as project language)
• Very good comprehension and understanding of processes and business workflows (1 project)
• Experience in a railway transport company (1 project)
