Job description
Experienced Test Manager sought for a banking project to oversee the replacement of a Customer Communication Management system. You will be responsible for the test strategy and concept to ensure a smooth migration.
Project overview
For a project in the banking environment, we are looking for an experienced Test Manager to support the replacement of an existing Customer Communication Management system. You will be responsible for the test strategy and concept and ensure that the migration runs smoothly.
Your tasks include planning, managing, and monitoring all test activities from conception to implementation. You will coordinate closely with Product Owners, Development, Architecture, and Business Departments. A focus is on developing solutions for automated documents (e.g., reminders, month-end processing) and establishing use-case-based test data management, taking data protection regulations into account.
You will lead all test phases (Integration Test, End-to-End Test, Performance/Mass Test, UAT) and manage defects. Transparent test reporting to project management and steering committees, as well as assessing the readiness for go-live, are part of your responsibilities.
We expect several years of experience as a Test Manager in large system replacement or migration projects in the banking environment. ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager certification or equivalent is required. Good knowledge of agile software development processes (SAFe/Scrum) and strong leadership and communication skills are essential. Experience with Output/CCM systems is an advantage.
German (C1) and fluent English are required. The position is hybrid with a 50% workload and runs until the end of 2027.
