We are looking for a tester with a good understanding of development for an exciting project in the public transport and mobility sector, aiming for a pilot by the end of Q2 2027. Interface knowledge is advantageous due to data consolidation from various systems.

We are looking for a tester with a good understanding of development for a client in the public transport and mobility sector.
This is an exciting project in planning, which aims to deliver a pilot by the end of Q2 2027. As data from various systems need to be consolidated, knowledge of interfaces is an advantage. Within the project, you will work with a Tieto Test Manager for the client.

- Earliest start November 23, 2026
- Primarily remote, but regular on-site presence required at larger intervals.
- End: 06/30/2027 with option for extension (multi-year project until 2029)
- Language: exclusively good German skills
- On-site: A maximum of 50% of the workload will be performed on-site. On-site activities can be carried out in full days or blocked.
- Location: Vienna, good public transport connections
- Availability from mid/late November at least 50% (of which a maximum of 25% on-site)
- Availability from early 2027 at 100% (of which a maximum of 50% on-site)
- Scrum, testing in an agile team (Definition of Done, sprint acceptances)
- Collaboration with developers
- Practical experience in software testing (manual and automated)
- A structured and precise approach, combined with initiative, responsibility, and a pragmatic hands-on mentality
- Experience with performance and load testing as well as container and cloud environments (OpenShift, Azure)
- Experience in testing event streams, including message validation, producers/consumers, sequence and idempotency, as well as non-functional testing: failover & disaster scenarios, monitoring & verification alerting
- Test environment management & service virtualization (mocking, stubbing)
- Excellent German language skills at C1 level for client and team communication
- Curiosity about technology and genuine enthusiasm for testing
- Little UI
