Experienced route planner with GIS and pipeline planning expertise sought for a long-term infrastructure project. The role involves planning and developing routes, considering various constraints, and working with GIS/CAD data.
Project overview
For a long-term project, an experienced route planner (m/f/d) with a focus on GIS and pipeline planning is sought immediately. We are looking for an individual with sound experience in planning routes and pathways, as well as in using GIS systems in the context of energy and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities
Planning and development of pipeline and route paths
Creation and evaluation of route variants
Consideration of technical, environmental, and approval-related boundary conditions
Development of alternative routes and preparation of decision-making bases
Integration and processing of GIS and CAD data
Support in the planning and implementation of infrastructure and energy projects
Collaboration with interdisciplinary specialist areas and project teams
Requirements
Sound practical experience with GIS systems, ideally ArcGIS Pro
Several years of experience in route planning
Experience in the pipeline, energy infrastructure, or pipeline construction environment
Practical experience in projects such as pipelines, power lines, cable routes, or comparable infrastructure projects
Proficient handling of geographical data, planning tools, and technical documentation
Structured and independent working style
Project language: German
Not the focus
Pure GIS users without practical route planning experience
Candidates with exclusively road or highway-related planning backgrounds
Perspective
Through participation in new infrastructure and energy projects, there is the possibility of a long-term increasing demand and a sustainable project perspective.
