For an existing contract with one of our direct clients, we are looking for a

Senior Omnissa Horizon Engineer VDI Client Operations

Responsibilities

• Packaging and maintenance of applications with Omnissa App Volumes, error analysis for assignments
• Maintenance of DEM configurations and policies, analysis of login, profile, and personalization problems
• Creation and maintenance of logon, logoff, and PowerShell scripts including source code handover
• Maintenance of master images with cumulative Windows updates, functional tests, and snapshot management
• 2nd level support with incident processing, root cause analysis, and vendor escalations
• Support with rollout and release, as well as knowledge transfer in VDI client operations

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable qualification
• At least 10 years of professional experience in Enterprise Client Management in complex IT environments
• At least 10 years of operating Omnissa or VMware Horizon from 1,500 sessions, including non-persistent
• Comprehensive knowledge of App Volumes, DEM, vSphere, vCenter, and FSLogix, basic knowledge of vSAN and Backup
• Profound knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, Group Policies, and Windows 11, very good PowerShell skills
• Certification OCA-H or VCP-DTM, OCA, MD-102, and AZ-104 are desirable
• Willingness for an employment relationship subject to social security contributions
• Experience in the public healthcare sector, communicative and analytical team player, agile
• Very good German language skills, at least level C2
