• Planning, control, and coordination of the cutover within the scope of two extensive IT transformation programs.
• Support for the replacement of the existing legacy systems CORE and EKR as well as the migration to the new system platforms Deep Sea and Digital Retail Platform (DRP).
• Ensuring a controlled and stable transition of existing systems and business processes to the new system landscapes during ongoing operations.
• Definition and coordination of quality gates in cooperation with sub-project managers and department heads after completion of the overall integration test.
• Creation, coordination, and control of cutover scripts as well as coordination of the required activities and dependencies between the involved teams.
• Continuous monitoring of the implementation progress as well as tracking of defined milestones and measures.
• Coordination of the collaboration between project teams, departments, sub-project management, and operational units.
• Ensuring the handover of the converted systems and processes to regular operations (Operations).
• Identification of critical dependencies, risks, and potential disruptions in the cutover process as well as initiation of appropriate countermeasures.
• Coordination and control of short-term escalations for time-critical or complex issues.
• Preparation of complex technical and business contexts as a basis for decisions for relevant stakeholders.
• Ensuring a stable transition even during business-critical phases, especially around Black Friday and the Christmas business.
• Goal: Successful and controlled replacement of the legacy systems CORE and EKR.
• Ensuring the stable migration of existing business processes to the new system platforms.
• Ensuring a smooth transition to productive operation and the subsequent operations processes.
• Minimizing operational risks and ensuring business continuity during the transition.

Your Qualifications

• Several years of experience in project management, ideally in complex IT transformation or migration projects.
• Sound experience in cutover management, especially in planning and controlling system changes during ongoing operations.
• Experience in creating and orchestrating cutover plans, process flows, and detailed cutover scripts.
• Knowledge in defining and controlling quality gates as well as monitoring project progress and milestones.
• Experience in coordinating multiple project teams and departments as well as managing complex dependencies.
• Ability to identify risks early, derive suitable measures, and structurally manage critical transition phases.
• Experience in escalation management and in preparing complex issues for decision-makers in an audience-appropriate manner.
• Understanding of the transition of IT systems and business processes to operational use.
• Strong communication and coordination skills in dealing with various stakeholders.
