We are looking for a Network Software Engineer/Architect for the railway sector to develop and implement network solutions, focusing on automation and data management.
Project overview
For deployment with our client in the railway sector, we are looking for:
Network Software Engineer/Architect
Responsibilities
- Conceptual development and technical implementation in development and system test environments
- Problem analysis and, if necessary, market analysis
- Technical conception
- Development of (automated) test scenarios (Test Driven Design) and support during execution
- Integration into system landscape
- Support during commissioning
- Requirements management
- Creation of system documentation
- Creation of operating manuals
- Life Cycle Management
- Support with tenders
- Development of data storage required for automation using Nautobot
- Aggregation of many different data sources involved in the creation of device configurations
Requirements
- Experience with operational operation & automation of carrier or content provider networks (e.g., Juniper, Cisco, Arista, Nokia, ...)
- Network and/or software architecture
- Experience with NSoT/IPAM/DCIM systems such as Netbox and Nautobot, integration into surrounding systems and infrastructure
- Use of Ansible, Netconf or similar systems
