Project overview

For deployment with our client in the railway sector, we are looking for:

Technical Consultant OT Security in Rail Environment

Support the creation of an approval assessment report, including parts of the requirements specification, detailed design, and product phase, in accordance with Section 5 of Sector Guideline 2.0 (SLL), as well as reviewing and approving all phases in the capacity of an authorized expert (§4b AEG) ZP IT Security.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and regular exchange meetings with the creator
• Discussing expectations, e.g., with FGV, testing authority InfraGO AG
• Additional in-depth meetings
• Final review of reports, approvals in the capacity of an authorized expert (§4b AEG)
• Discussing results, e.g., with FGV, testing authority InfraGO, possibly EBA
• Possible revisions after consultation with the mentioned bodies

Requirements

MUST-HAVE Criteria

SHOULD-HAVE Criteria

• Experience as an expert in approval testing of IT security for STE systems
• Proof of recognition by the Federal Railway Authority (EBA) as an expert for approval testing of IT security for STE systems during the service period
• Experience in evaluating a procedure for deriving IT security measures in accordance with TS 50701
• Proof through the consultant's involvement in the creation of at least one expert report within the last 3 years (self-disclosure; if required, the cover page of the document must be submitted)
• Experience in reviewing the appropriateness of derived measures
• Experience in teaching (as proof of qualification for didactic support)
• Proof of teaching activity at a university or college within the last 5 years
• Language skills in German and English at a negotiation level, both written and spoken (self-disclosure)
• Research experience
• Proof of employment at a university or college within the last 5 years
• Proof of employment at a university or college within the last 2 years
• Experience in implementing standards IEC 62443 and TS 50701
• Proof of application in the form of expert reports and/or technical articles within the last 5 years
• Proof of application in the form of expert reports and/or technical articles within the last 2 years.
• Project experience in the German railway operating environment
• Proof of involvement through project references from the last 5 years
