For Alliander (Liander N.V.), we are looking for 2 Account Managers who will contribute to the smarter utilization of the electricity grid by realizing agreements on flexible capacity with large corporate clients.
Assignment Description
The energy transition is placing increasing pressure on the Dutch electricity grid. Within Alliander's Account Management Client team, you will work on solutions for large corporate clients facing limited grid capacity and complex energy issues. As an Account Manager A, you will focus on, among other things, contracting flexible capacity with existing clients and clients on the waiting list. You will investigate with clients what possibilities they have to make their electricity usage more flexible and translate these possibilities into concrete contract agreements.
You will work within programs such as 'Regelbaar Vermogen' (Controllable Capacity) and 'Net Anders' (Grid Different) and utilize various congestion management products to realize suitable solutions. In doing so, you will connect internal specialists, large corporate clients, and other involved stakeholders. You will independently manage complex client files, monitor progress, and ensure that various interests are brought together. You will be part of a team of approximately 20 account managers working on sustainable client relationships and a future-proof energy system.

- Build and maintain sustainable client relationships.
- Bachelor's or Master's work and thinking level.
- Experience in account management, relationship management, stakeholder management, or consultancy.
- Experience in building and maintaining sustainable client relationships.
- Ability to understand complex issues and translate them into concrete actions.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Persuasiveness and the ability to connect different interests.
- Independent and structured work approach, with good prioritization and management skills.
- Affinity with the energy transition and/or complex societal issues.

Practical Information
- Possess a valid driver's license and own transportation for national client visits.
- Willing to cooperate with the applicable basic screening and, if awarded, a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) application.
