Communications advisor for the PAGW Underwater Nature program at Rijkswaterstaat.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Connecting environmental management and communication within RWS
• Acting as the first point of contact for the communications agency
• Developing a strategic communication plan as an overarching framework for all communication activities
• Taking initiative and bearing responsibility for the production of communication resources
• Identifying when additional communication efforts are needed
• Encouraging colleagues to communicate more actively
• Producing various resources such as press releases, resident letters, fact sheets, and social media content
• Providing and preparing visual materials and communication resources
• Organizing meetings including location and catering
• Creating presentations and restructuring existing communication resources
• Minimum of five years of demonstrable work experience with communication advice
• HBO-level communication education
• Knowledge of and experience with communication about projects related to ecological water quality
• Proficiency in the Frisian language and familiarity with projects in the Wadden Sea area
• Availability of 16 hours per week
• Willingness to work at the Leeuwarden location
