Communications advisor for the PAGW Underwater Nature program at Rijkswaterstaat.
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Connecting environmental management and communication within RWS
- Acting as the first point of contact for the communications agency
- Developing a strategic communication plan as an overarching framework for all communication activities
- Taking initiative and bearing responsibility for the production of communication resources
- Identifying when additional communication efforts are needed
- Encouraging colleagues to communicate more actively
- Producing various resources such as press releases, resident letters, fact sheets, and social media content
- Providing and preparing visual materials and communication resources
- Organizing meetings including location and catering
- Creating presentations and restructuring existing communication resources
- Minimum of five years of demonstrable work experience with communication advice
- HBO-level communication education
- Knowledge of and experience with communication about projects related to ecological water quality
- Proficiency in the Frisian language and familiarity with projects in the Wadden Sea area
- Availability of 16 hours per week
- Willingness to work at the Leeuwarden location
