Project overview

Context

Within our client's IT Platform, you will join the "Reliability" domain. This domain guarantees the reliability, performance, and service quality of applications through measurement, observability, and resilience engineering.

You will support the team that provides performance testing, load testing, and quality gates tooling. This tooling is used in particular by the delivery teams of a consumer application.

The Team

• 7 people: 1 Delivery Manager, 1 Product Owner, 5 Ops/Engineering profiles
• Operates using Kanban (continuous flow)
• Scope: load and performance testing, SLO definition and monitoring, Chaos Engineering, supporting development teams on performance and resilience
• Numerous interactions with Dev, Infra, SRE, Architecture, and Product teams

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the team's operation and guide them towards autonomy and continuous improvement
• Implement agile practices (Kanban, Scrum) and facilitate ceremonies: Weekly, Daily, Retrospective, Maturation, Demo
• Coach the Product Owner and facilitate backlog estimation sessions
• Implement useful monitoring indicators: flow metrics, burndown, HealthCheck
• Identify and remove obstacles, and protect the team from external interference
• Ensure technical and functional documentation remains up-to-date (new joiners, sharing between teams)
• Support the team towards continuous deployment, first in testing then in production
• Champion agile and DevOps best practices at the domain level
