Work activities, responsibilities & results

Technically set up and further develop AI facilities within SHN's Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft Copilot Studio, Cowork, and Microsoft Foundry. Set up an AI funnel methodology to guide ideas and use cases based on complexity, autonomy, data, integrations, security, privacy, manageability, and costs towards the most suitable AI solution. Realize low-code and pro-code AI solutions and agents, including generative AI, agentic AI, and RAG solutions. Realize connections with Microsoft 365, knowledge and data sources, the SHN data platform, and other SHN systems.

Set up development, testing, and production facilities, including CI/CD, version control, logging, monitoring, security, and automated deployments. Contribute to agents and AI functionality for the Digital Learning Platform. Design and test a Cowork use case where multiple related tasks are performed from a single user request.

Background of the assignment

Because SHN lacks the necessary knowledge and expertise to carry out this assignment itself, it is being outsourced externally.

• Realize a pro-code AI solution in Microsoft Foundry and applications in Copilot Studio, including developing reusable building blocks. Set up and apply Azure Cost Management, Azure Advisor, and the Microsoft FinOps Toolkit, including a FinOps use case and dynamic reporting for costs, consumption, budgets, and forecasting. Support with management, technical documentation, and knowledge transfer.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as an AI Engineer, Cloud AI Engineer, Data/AI Engineer, or similar technical role. Experience with Copilot Studio and preferably Microsoft 365/Cowork. Experience with generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, Azure AI Search, and both low-code and pro-code development. Knowledge of Python, APIs, integrations, Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD. Knowledge of identity, security, logging, monitoring, and production-ready AI solutions. Experience with Azure Cost Management, Azure Advisor, and/or Microsoft FinOps Toolkit is desired.

Other

Hybrid working is possible. Generally, there is a 50/50 policy, with deviations possible in consultation.

Additional information

When you offer a professional to us as a supplier and they are placed, we will need information from you as a contracting party, including regarding the Chain Liability (Liability of Contractors) Act. The purpose of the 'WKA' is to prevent abuse in the remittance of payroll taxes at all links in the chain; from supplier to client. We cover these risks for our clients by means of a blocked account, the G-account. This is an account to which a portion of the invoice amount is deposited and from which you can pay payroll taxes and VAT to the Tax Authorities.

The percentage to be deposited depends on whether you have an SNA certification (NEN-4400-1 or NEN-4400-2) and whether your company is established in the Netherlands or abroad. You can apply for the G-account from the Tax Authorities. If you cannot obtain a G-account (and you can provide proof of this from the Tax Authorities), you also have the option to provide an auditor's report (assurance report regarding personnel lending) quarterly. In this, a certified accountant (AA or RA) will issue a statement on the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of the remittances.
