Project overview

Context

We are looking for a Project Manager for an IT Owner / Platform Owner mission to take responsibility for a new Platform Squad within the AI Factory.

The challenge is to gradually evolve interactions with the squads, from a logic of soliciting experts to a logic of self-service, automation, and reusable platform services.

Target persona: Leadership + Platform Engineering + Product mindset + BUILD/RUN, with sufficient AI culture to lead experts.

• Build, adopt, and operate an AI platform designed as an internal product, enabling AI squads to develop, deploy, and operate their solutions autonomously, securely, and in an industrialized manner.
• Lead and grow a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technical experts.
• Own the vision, roadmap, service catalog, adoption, and satisfaction of consuming squads.
• Develop self-service, automation, Developer Experience, shared capabilities, CI/CD, and observability.
• Ensure service quality, security, SRE, risk management, capacity, and cost control.
• Rely on Tech Leads and experts for detailed technical choices.
• Drive roadmap, prioritization, investment, organization, and delivery decisions.
• MLOps, LLMOps, or AI Platform experience, along with a good understanding of generative AI and agentic architectures, are real assets.
• IMPORTANT SELECTION POINT: We are not necessarily looking for an LLM expert or a Data Scientist. We favor a Platform Leader capable of transforming complex technologies into robust, industrialized capabilities that are easily consumable by AI squads.
• A shared platform effectively managed, its scope, and its consuming teams.
• A concrete transformation towards self-service or automation.
• A significant achievement in Developer Experience or Platform as a Product.
• Responsibilities exercised on BUILD & RUN, SRE, and service quality.
• The scope of management of a team of expert technicians.
