Consultant Transformation Product Management & AI

Project overview

Context

A bank is undertaking the transformation of its Product Management organization to leverage the new possibilities of generative AI and agents. It is looking for a consultant to redefine the Target Operating Model (TOM) for the product division and make it concrete in the daily lives of the teams. The role is halfway between a transformation consultant and a Forward Deployed Engineer: one must be able to design the target model and also build, with the teams, the tools that bring it to life.

Conditions

• Diagnose the current functioning of Product Management: roles, rituals, product lifecycle, tools, friction points
• Identify stages of the product cycle that AI can transform: discovery, analysis of customer feedback, writing user stories, prioritization, documentation, testing, reporting
• Redefine the TOM for the product division: roles and responsibilities (PM, PO, design, data), new rituals, governance, target skills, interactions with IT
• Prototype concrete use cases with the teams (assistants, agents, automated workflows) and measure their contribution
• Define the rules for using AI in a regulated banking environment: sensitive data, compliance, risks, security
• Build the deployment trajectory and support adoption: workshops, training, ambassadors, indicators
• Minimum 7 years of experience, including consulting firm experience (required)
• Solid experience in organizational transformation or Operating Model, ideally in product or digital divisions
• Very good knowledge of Product Management: discovery, roadmap, backlog, scaled product organization
• Concrete and recent experience with generative AI tools (LLMs, assistants, agents, automation) and ability to prototype oneself
• Ease in interacting with diverse stakeholders, from management to product and IT teams
• Posture: autonomous, pragmatic, capable of moving from slides to prototypes
