What will you do

As an Allround Finance Professional, you will contribute to the further development and strengthening of the financial function within the University of Twente. You will become part of a temporary flexible pool, which provides support to the five faculties and central staff during an ambitious change program within the financial column.

In this role, you will combine various financial activities with broader organizational responsibilities. You will be deployed where the need is greatest and support different teams in carrying out operational, tactical, and control-related activities. This means you will work in diverse environments and deal with various issues, interests, and stakeholders.

You will not only contribute to correct financial execution but also help strengthen collaboration between faculties and staff departments. You are flexible, switch quickly between tasks, and add value directly from your expertise. At the same time, you will unburden permanent colleagues so they can focus on realizing the ambitions of the change program.

• HBO or WO work and thinking level appropriate for the position.
• Knowledge of financial administration, general ledger management, and period-end closing.
• Experience with project administration, project monitoring, and control.
• Experience with financial reporting and management information.
• Knowledge of financial systems, preferably Unit4, AFAS, and/or Power BI.
• Affinity with budgets, forecasts, investment issues, and data management.
• Knowledge of reporting rules (RJ) and the ability to apply them practically.
• Experience with stakeholder management and collaboration within complex organizations.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to set priorities.
• The assignment is for a temporary period of at least 6 months.
• A total of 5 FTE finance professionals are sought.
