Assignment Description

We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer for a consulting assignment focused on developing social and real-time features in a large-scale consumer application.

In this role, you will work with user-facing Android features, social feeds, and real-time synchronization. You will also contribute to the further development of underlying architecture and APIs with high demands on performance, network efficiency, battery consumption, scalability, and quality.

You will collaborate closely with Android, iOS, and backend developers, as well as product, design, and data science teams. The role may also involve leading initiatives that span multiple teams and platforms.

• You have at least 8 years of experience in Android development.
• You have deep knowledge of modern Android development and Kotlin.
• You write clear, idiomatic, and maintainable code.
• You have deep knowledge of Android architecture, design patterns, and API design.
• You have a good understanding of how mobile applications interact with backend systems.
• You have experience with real-time synchronization and performance optimization in mobile applications.
• You have experience working with considerations for battery consumption, network, and performance.
• You have experience with AI agent tools and agent-based development methods, such as Cursor and Claude.
• You have experience developing solutions with high demands on privacy, security, and abuse prevention.
• You have experience with C++.
• You have experience with iOS development.
• You have experience with development across multiple platforms and codebases.
