In an context of increased cybersecurity, the company aims to further secure its Information System. Furthermore, to remain a leader, we must support our business units in implementing new solutions. To do this, we need to write the technical architecture documents for the solutions.

Subject of the consultation document

As part of this project, the company has decided to subcontract the design of the technical architecture for its French and international sites, taking into account numerous characteristics and constraints, ensuring technical coherence and the maintenance of the information system throughout its evolution, by studying its impact on the existing or future architecture.

This service requires expertise in VMware, Windows, MSSQL, Cloud, Clustering technologies, etc.

The ability to write detailed technical documentation is also necessary.

Design of the technical architecture for the requested solutions on its French and international sites, taking into account numerous characteristics and constraints, ensuring technical coherence and the maintenance of the information system throughout its evolution, by studying its impact on the existing or future architecture.

The expected application architecture service concerns the upper layers of the OSI model. Hardware layers are the responsibility of other dedicated technical architects (network, server, storage). The HLDs and LLDs delivered by the service provider serve as input specifications for the hardware architects.

Deliverables

The communication language is French or English. All documents must be written in French or English.

• The urban planning document
• The security document
• Functional requirements
• Defines the environments that will be installed (qualification, pre-production, ...)
• Describes the type of architecture chosen (2-tier, 3-tier, thick client, etc.)
• Justifies the chosen technologies for physical components and their use
• Designs, justifying the choices, an architecture that meets the requirements for availability, security, and scalability
• Specifies the choices for virtual components (VMware, number of servers and version, ...)
• Determines the licensing methods for upper-layer software
• Justifies the chosen technologies for middleware components
• Justifies the choices for security services (Identity Management / Authentication / Access Management / Resource Directory)
• Specifies the operational service needs (Supervision / Backup / SLM / Scheduling)
• Mastery of DICT concepts and suitable solutions to address them
• Expertise in the following areas
• Specification of backup and storage system requirements (Mandatory)
• Specification of virtualization and system requirements (Mandatory)
• Specification of network security (segmentation, flows, protocols, ...) (Mandatory)
• Specifications for SQL Server, IIS, Active Directory configurations (Mandatory)

• Technical architecture document (HLD or LLD)
• Reports, either at the initiative of the Service Provider or at the request of the company Electronics and Defense. These reports will be requested, for example (but not exhaustively), in cases of difficult-to-diagnose failures involving complex organizations or following a request for an audit of a technical infrastructure.
