Assignment Description

For a municipal client, we are looking for an experienced Application Manager / Quality Officer Public Affairs. In this role, you will make an important contribution to the quality and further development of municipal services. You will support and advise on the design, operation, and improvement of applications and processes within the Public Affairs domain. You know how to translate needs and bottlenecks from the organization into concrete improvements in service delivery. You combine knowledge of municipal processes with experience in application management, quality assurance, and advice.

You are familiar with applications such as i-Burgerzaken and JCC and have an affinity with digital developments, including Power BI and the use of AI. You will work in a dynamic environment where collaboration, quality, and improving service delivery are central.

• Supporting and advising on the quality of municipal service delivery.
• Analyzing existing work processes, applications, and improvement opportunities within Public Affairs.
• Translating needs and bottlenecks into improvements in the design of applications and processes.
• Contributing to the optimization of application management and quality processes.
• Advising on the use and further development of digital applications.
• Collaborating with involved employees and stakeholders within the municipal organization.
• Contributing to the deployment and application of digital tools, including Power BI and AI.
• The candidate possesses a relevant completed education at a minimum HBO (Bachelor's) level.
• The candidate possesses at least 3 years of demonstrable experience as an Application Manager Public Affairs and Quality Officer Public Affairs.
• The relevant work experience must be concretely substantiated with performed activities, assignments/projects, organizations, and periods.
• The CV consists of a maximum of 3 A4 pages.
• The education must state the educational institution, location, specialization, and graduation year.
• A completed education in the direction of Public Administration, Government Management, or ICT.
• A candidate currently pursuing such an education can also be assessed within the gunning criteria.
• At least 3 years of recent work experience with supporting and advising on the quality of service delivery and translating this into the design of applications and processes.
• At least 3 years of demonstrable work experience within a municipal organization and/or Customer Contact Center (KCC).
• At least 2 years of demonstrable experience with i-Burgerzaken and JCC.
• Experience with Power BI and the use of AI.
• Knowledge of municipal processes, preferably within Public Affairs.
• Analytical ability and a quality-oriented approach.
• Good communication and advisory skills.
• Ability to quickly master new digital applications and tools.
• A proactive, independent, and collaborative attitude.
