We are currently recruiting for a Band 8a Mental Health Pharmacist to work on a temporary basis in Stoke on Trent. Please see details of the role below:

Role Details

• Role: Band 8a Mental Health Pharmacist
• Days: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 9am to 5pm
• Pay: £36ph
• Start: ASAP
• Length: Ongoing
• This role will involve providing specialist clinical pharmacy support within mental health services, including medicines optimisation, clinical screening, patient counselling, and supporting safe and effective prescribing.
• The post holder will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care across mental health wards and community services, ensuring high quality pharmaceutical care and governance.

• GPhC registration
• Minimum of 6 months NHS hospital experience
• Mental health pharmacy experience desirable
• Strong clinical screening and medicines optimisation skills
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary working skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a specialist caseload
