We are currently recruiting for a Band 8a Mental Health Pharmacist to work on a temporary basis in Stoke on Trent. Please see details of the role below:
Role Details
- Role: Band 8a Mental Health Pharmacist
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 9am to 5pm
- Pay: £36ph
- Start: ASAP
- Length: Ongoing
- This role will involve providing specialist clinical pharmacy support within mental health services, including medicines optimisation, clinical screening, patient counselling, and supporting safe and effective prescribing.
- The post holder will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care across mental health wards and community services, ensuring high quality pharmaceutical care and governance.

- GPhC registration
- Minimum of 6 months NHS hospital experience
- Mental health pharmacy experience desirable
- Strong clinical screening and medicines optimisation skills
- Excellent communication and multidisciplinary working skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a specialist caseload
