Business Analyst Data / MOA Data Consultant – Regulatory (M/F)

Project overview

As part of a regulatory program within the insurance sector, we are looking for a Business Analyst Data / MOA Data Consultant to strengthen a team dedicated to the production and reliability of regulatory data.

You will work in an environment subject to European regulatory requirements, particularly on issues related to the collection, integration, and validation of data necessary for prudential reporting.

Working closely with business and IT teams, you will be responsible for gathering requirements, formalizing functional specifications, and ensuring the compliance of collected data.

With higher education in IT, information systems, or Data, you have experience in Business Analysis, MOA Data, or decision-making project management.

You have a good command of SQL and are able to query relational databases to analyze, control, and ensure the reliability of data.

You have ideally worked in a banking or insurance environment and have knowledge of regulatory and prudential issues, particularly concerning Solvency II.

Rigorous, autonomous, and with good analytical skills, you are comfortable interacting with business and technical stakeholders. Your ability to understand needs, formalize requirements, and support testing phases will be essential to succeed in this mission.

Knowledge of SAS Guide and regulatory reporting issues is an additional asset.

• Data Collection and Analysis
• Organize and ensure the collection of data necessary for regulatory work from various data providers (management information systems and decision-making information systems).
• Identify the data needed for the production of regulatory information and monitor its availability.
• Analyze the collected data and identify any anomalies or inconsistencies.
• Ensure coordination with various data providers and consumers to facilitate exchanges and secure data feeds.
• Functional Analysis and Specifications
• Gather and analyze requirements related to European regulatory requirements.
• Write general functional specifications necessary for integrating new data into the information system.
• Translate regulatory requirements into functional needs and business rules usable by technical teams.
• Support teams in understanding needs and expected evolutions.
• Develop close relationships with business stakeholders who provide and consume data to optimize regulatory work.
• Testing and Validation of Evolutions
• Define and frame the strategies and methods for validating evolutions.
• Design and write functional test cases.
• Execute test campaigns to verify the compliance of implemented evolutions.
• Analyze test results and identify any anomalies.
• Ensure the follow-up of anomalies until their resolution.
• Guarantee the quality and reliability of data integrated as part of regulatory evolutions.
• Mastery of SQL language.
