Business Analyst / E-commerce Pricing & Promotions

Project overview

As part of e-commerce projects focused on pricing and promotions, you will act as an experienced Business Analyst for business and technical teams.

Responsibilities

You will work in an e-commerce environment involving pricing, promotions, and dynamic pricing issues. The mission involves understanding IT architectures, data flows, APIs, and integrations with ERP, PIM, OMS, and payment platforms.

You will work in coordination with technical, business, and international teams.

Profile sought

You have at least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with proven experience in e-commerce, particularly in pricing and promotions.

Expected skills:

Experience with Price Shape would be appreciated.

You are autonomous, rigorous, and possess strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills with international teams.

Professional proficiency in English is required.

The consultant must be based in Europe and be available for two trips during the first month, then occasionally as needed in Lyon.

• Analyze and formalize business needs.
• Carry out the functional design of solutions.
• Write functional specifications.
• Configure solutions when applicable.
• Coordinate their implementation with technical teams.
• Define, prepare, and execute end-to-end IT tests.
• Analyze incidents, flows, and malfunctions.
• Support deployment phases.
• Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and solutions.
• Experience in needs analysis and functional design.
• Mastery of writing functional specifications.
• Experience coordinating implementations with technical teams.
• Ability to define and execute end-to-end IT tests.
• Skills in analyzing incidents, flows, and integrations.
• Good understanding of e-commerce processes, particularly pricing and promotions.
• Knowledge of IT architectures, data flows, APIs, and integration mechanisms.
• Experience with ERP, PIM, OMS, and payment platforms.
• Knowledge of dynamic pricing and requirements related to the Omnibus directive.
• Mastery of Jira.
