Business Controller - Operations

Project overview

As Business Controller Operations, you will support the Business Control Security department within Schiphol Group.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Testing the financial results of the Security Joint Ventures
• Validating functional needs from the business and their added value
• Steering towards maximum value creation in line with Schiphol's financial goals
• Acting as a financial business partner for the management team, providing advice when requested and unrequested
• Performing financial analyses related to business issues
• Preparing management reports, budgets, and multi-year plans
• Scrutinizing financial reports from Security parties
• Preparing EES reports for the government
• Financial background at HBO/WO level, preferably supplemented with an RA or RC title
• 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience at this level
• Experience in a multi-stakeholder environment at various levels
• Experience as a Business Controller within a management team
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages
• Critical and challenging thinking ability
• Ability to inspire, influence, and convince from new perspectives
• Skill in providing independent, challenging advice from an outside-in perspective
