Case Manager Absence

Project overview

The assignment includes full end-to-end absence case management at KVK.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Taking charge of the entire absence process from the first day of illness
• Guiding and assisting managers with complex absence issues
• Monitoring legal deadlines and file creation in accordance with the Gatekeeper Improvement Act
• Coordinating with occupational physician, absence service provider, manager, employee, and external experts
• Identifying risks of WIA (Work and Income Capacity Insurance) inflow and implementing appropriate interventions
• Guiding the transition from the 'self-management' model to the 'joint management' model
• Contributing to quality improvement of absence processes
• Analyzing absence trends and proposing improvements
• Completed HBO (higher professional education) degree, in the direction of CROV
• Minimum of 5 years of recent (within the last 7 years) experience as an absence case manager
• Current knowledge of absence regulations, Wvp (Work and Prevention Act), Ziektewet (Sickness Benefits Act), WIA, AVG (General Data Protection Regulation), and complex absence files
• Experience with the YouForce system
• Experience with absence management within larger organizations and with coaching managers
• Knowledge of social security and labor law
• Work experience within a government organization is a plus
