Manage end-to-end absence cases for KVK, including guiding managers, monitoring legal deadlines, and collaborating with various stakeholders.
Project overview
The assignment includes full end-to-end absence case management at KVK.
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Taking charge of the entire absence process from the first day of illness
- Guiding and assisting managers with complex absence issues
- Monitoring legal deadlines and file creation in accordance with the Gatekeeper Improvement Act
- Coordinating with occupational physician, absence service provider, manager, employee, and external experts
- Identifying risks of WIA (Work and Income Capacity Insurance) inflow and implementing appropriate interventions
- Guiding the transition from the 'self-management' model to the 'joint management' model
- Contributing to quality improvement of absence processes
- Analyzing absence trends and proposing improvements
- Completed HBO (higher professional education) degree, in the direction of CROV
- Minimum of 5 years of recent (within the last 7 years) experience as an absence case manager
- Current knowledge of absence regulations, Wvp (Work and Prevention Act), Ziektewet (Sickness Benefits Act), WIA, AVG (General Data Protection Regulation), and complex absence files
- Experience with the YouForce system
- Experience with absence management within larger organizations and with coaching managers
- Knowledge of social security and labor law
- Work experience within a government organization is a plus
