CISO (interim)

Project overview

Filling the CISO role at KNMI, with support from colleagues on cyber security issues.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Updating and disseminating the information security policy in accordance with BIO 2.0, and participating in the Compliancy team
• Identifying, recording, and assigning risks, including drafting explains and risk acceptances, within the Risk Management team
• Coordinating and supporting security tests and risk analyses
• Advising, solicited and unsolicited, on cyber security issues within the CIO Office
• Together with an internal colleague, ensuring the CISO role on behalf of KNMI within the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management
• Advising on the procurement of services and goods in the field of cyber security
• Demonstrable knowledge level in the field of CISM
• Knowledge of the Cyber Security Act and the BIO 2.0 framework
• Demonstrable experience with risk management in the field of information security
• Demonstrable experience as CISO within the Central Government
• Bachelor's or Master's work and thinking level
• Knowledge of government processes and structures (preferred)
• Experience with audits, certifications, and compliance processes (preferred)
