Interim CISO role at KNMI, focusing on information security policy, risk management, and cyber security advice.
Project overview
Filling the CISO role at KNMI, with support from colleagues on cyber security issues.
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Updating and disseminating the information security policy in accordance with BIO 2.0, and participating in the Compliancy team
- Identifying, recording, and assigning risks, including drafting explains and risk acceptances, within the Risk Management team
- Coordinating and supporting security tests and risk analyses
- Advising, solicited and unsolicited, on cyber security issues within the CIO Office
- Together with an internal colleague, ensuring the CISO role on behalf of KNMI within the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management
- Advising on the procurement of services and goods in the field of cyber security
- Demonstrable knowledge level in the field of CISM
- Knowledge of the Cyber Security Act and the BIO 2.0 framework
- Demonstrable experience with risk management in the field of information security
- Demonstrable experience as CISO within the Central Government
- Bachelor's or Master's work and thinking level
- Knowledge of government processes and structures (preferred)
- Experience with audits, certifications, and compliance processes (preferred)
