What will you do?

For the Municipality of Hoeksche Waard, we are looking for 2 Client Managers for Debt Services. In total for 1.33 FTE where the professionals are available 2 to 5 days per week.

The following client-specific conditions apply to this assignment for the client Zuid-Holland-Zuid (ZHZ):

Longer than 26 weeks worked: notice period of 1 month

The rate is an all-in rate.

Please note: no self-employed individuals (ZZP) are possible.

• You are responsible for processing and guiding debt relief applications from beginning to end. From the initial interview to aftercare, you maintain an overview and set up a customized trajectory that suits the resident's situation;
• You conduct advisory interviews, arrange amicable debt settlements, arrange 100% payment plans, and if necessary, file petitions for legal debt restructuring. Re-assessments during ongoing cases are also part of the job;
• You enjoy contributing ideas on topics such as Basic Debt Relief Services;
• You look beyond just the debts: you are aware of the underlying causes and work according to stress-sensitive service delivery. Motivating, stimulating, and providing confidence are essential in this regard;
• You proactively approach residents when there are signs of payment problems – for example, through a home visit – and offer immediate assistance.
• You have a completed HBO (higher professional education) degree;
• You have experience as a debt counselor and knowledge of the entire process (from registration to aftercare), the NVVK guidelines, and the Municipal Debt Relief Act;
• You are proficient with digital systems and can switch effortlessly between empathy and decisiveness. You like to take initiative and actively contribute ideas on how we can further develop our profession. You value collaboration and are enthusiastic about continuous learning and growth. A driver's license is necessary for this position, as you will also be traveling regularly.
• The General Procurement Conditions for supplies and services of the municipality of Hoeksche Waard (Voorne aan Zee) apply to every assignment.
• The take-over period for flexible workers is 1,404 hours. For secondment, it is 936 hours.
• Indexation does not apply.
• A valid Certificate of Conduct (VOG) is required for every placement. The costs for this are borne by the supplier and must be included in the rate.
• Upon termination of an assignment, the following notice periods from ZHZ apply:
• Up to 8 weeks worked: notice period of 1 working week
• Between 8 and 26 weeks worked: notice period of 3 working weeks
