Cloud-Native DevOps Engineer (OpenTofu & Crossplane)

Project overview

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a team responsible for developing and maintaining a business-critical cloud-native platform. The project focuses on cloud infrastructure automation, Kubernetes orchestration, CI/CD, GitOps, security, and production environment reliability.

You will work closely with engineering, architecture, and security teams to improve platform scalability, availability, and operational efficiency.

• Design and maintain cloud infrastructure using OpenTofu and Crossplane
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and cloud-native services
• Implement GitOps deployments using Argo CD, ApplicationSet, and Helm
• Develop and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Manage cloud networking, ingress, DNS, and security configurations
• Implement container security and hardening standards
• Maintain PostgreSQL databases using CloudNativePG
• Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
• Monitor production environments and troubleshoot infrastructure issues
• Improve platform automation, reliability, and availability

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native infrastructure
• Experience with OpenTofu or Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• Knowledge of Crossplane and Argo CD
• Experience with Helm and GitOps
• Strong knowledge of GitLab CI/CD.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure services: CCE, ECS, VPC, EIP, DNS, EVS, ELB, and NAT
• Good Linux administration skills
• Experience with PostgreSQL and CloudNativePG
• Knowledge of pgBackRest, WAL archiving, and Point-in-Time Recovery (PITR)
• Experience with Traefik, cert-manager, TLS, and cloud networking security
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and container security best practices
• Experience with backup strategies and disaster recovery procedures
