The Role

Capefront is looking for a Completion Engineer / Punch List Coordinator to support the completion and transfer of an industrial project.

This is an on-site operational coordination role, not primarily focused on studies or design. The consultant will track remaining work, coordinate its closure, maintain completion records, and support the handover of systems to pre-commissioning, commissioning, and client teams.

Main Responsibilities

The consultant will:

Manage punch lists and coordinate the closure of outstanding items.

Maintain completion and handover records in EasyPlant or a similar tracking tool.

Monitor work progress and produce reliable status reports.

Coordinate with contractors, construction teams, quality assurance, quality control, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and client representatives.

Verify the content and consistency of outstanding items.

Organize the notification, correction, and re-inspection of open points.

Collect and consolidate QCFs, completion certificates, handover documents, and other project documents.

Participate in the preparation of AM, RFC, RFSU documents and handover files.

Verify that documents are correctly registered, complete, and auditable.

Contribute to defining construction priorities with the pre-commissioning and commissioning teams.

Prepare periodic progress reports and summaries for management.

Identify resource needs and alert on risks, delays, and blocked activities.

Support the progressive handover of systems and installations to the client.

Perform any other completion or handover activities requested by the project team.
