Project overview

Hello,

As part of its client projects, Visian is looking for a Senior Consultant specialized in Microsoft Fabric and Power BI to support the design, industrialization, and optimization of Data and Business Intelligence solutions.

You will be involved in the entire solution lifecycle, from framing business needs to production deployment, including data ingestion, transformation, modeling, and reporting.

Technical environment

• Gather and analyze business needs in collaboration with functional and technical teams.
• Formalize business rules, performance indicators (KPIs), and functional and technical specifications.
• Map data sources and define integration and transformation methods.
• Design and industrialize ingestion and transformation pipelines in Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Lakehouse, Notebooks).
• Structure data according to a medallion architecture (Bronze / Silver / Gold).
• Automate processing, quality controls, and data historization.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and transformation processes.
• Ensure the reliability, performance, and maintainability of Data flows.
• Design and maintain data models and semantic models in Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop advanced dashboards and reports with Power BI and DAX.
• Implement simulation and scenario analysis features (What-If).
• Optimize the performance of models and reports, particularly with DirectLake.
• Ensure the reliability of indicators and the consistency of data provided to users.
• Contribute to the implementation of forecasting models and statistical analyses.
• Develop mechanisms for analyzing discrepancies between actual and forecasted data.
• Participate in the integration of AI features and the optimization of decision-making processes.
• Identify and propose areas for improvement in the performance of Data solutions.
• Implement data quality, consistency, and traceability controls.
• Perform technical and functional tests before production deployment.
• Document architectures, pipelines, data models, and business rules.
• Support users in the operation of solutions and contribute to their continuous improvement.
