Contract Advisor South Netherlands A-Roads (secondment)

Project overview

As a contract advisor, you will support the contract manager in managing maintenance contracts for roads in the South Netherlands.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Identifying risks and establishing appropriate control measures
• Collaborating within the project team and connecting with contractors and other organizational units
• Verifying the legality of payment requests and preparing performance statements
• Coordinating the change process and recording status and decisions in RWS systems
• Advising the contract manager on decisions to be made and assessing contract changes
• Steering contract management according to the SCB method
• Building the ABC contract file for decisions, legality, and auditability
• Advising on the interpretation of UAV-GC, UAV, and specific contract provisions, strategy, disputes, and claims
• Monitoring the smooth running of contract-related processes
• Providing and analyzing management information for decision-making
• Supporting team members in achieving common goals
• Minimum HBO work and thinking level with a completed relevant HBO education
• Knowledge of UAV and UAV-GC is a plus
• Familiarity with D&C and E&C contract forms is a plus
• Proven experience with procurement and/or contract management within the infrastructure sector
• Demonstrable experience with UAV-GC and/or construction teams
• Practical experience in system-oriented contract management (SCB) of maintenance contracts
• Proactive and initiative-taking attitude
• Persuasiveness and organizational sensitivity
• Ability to collaborate well and anticipate
• Results-oriented with an eye for process and accurate work
• Ability to function both independently and as part of a team
• Strong oral and written communication skills
