Context

Our client is strengthening its data governance team with a Data Analyst for the Customer & Prospect and Contractual Relationship domains. The mission involves data cataloging, impact assessments, and data quality monitoring for the B2C France scope (individual and professional customers). Exchanges are also planned with other countries within the group's B2C entity and with group-level data governance.

Profile sought

Data Analyst or Data Steward with at least 3 years of experience, including mandatory experience in data governance. Structured and autonomous profile, comfortable facilitating discussions with business, IT, and governance teams, and producing reliable data documentation.

• Continue, with the Data Owner, the roadmap for data cataloging and monitoring
• Track progress, report alerts, and propose necessary adjustments
• Present progress in Data Governance committees
• Update the business catalog in Collibra with Data Owners: data domains, data concepts, business rules, quality rules, statuses
• Enrich the business object model (modeling in draw.io)
• Map technical data with Data and IT teams and establish data lineage towards business concepts in Collibra
• Perform "Data Visas" during the design phase: assess the impact of a new feature or change on data, business rules, databases, reporting, applications, and usage
• Build these Data Visas with the Epic Owner or project manager, the enterprise architect, and the relevant domain Data Owner
• Participate in the design phase of a major transformation program
• Define and specify with the Data Owner the quality indicators (KQI) for the Measurement, Fleet, and Contractual Relationship domains
• Implement these KQIs with Data Quality Managers in the Data Quality Management tool and in Power BI
• Prioritize corrections with the Data Owner and manage remediation actions
• Significant experience in data governance: cataloging, defining business concepts and rules, working with Data Owners
• Data quality: defining and monitoring indicators, remediation plans
• Data lineage and technical data mapping
• Ability to work with business, IT, and architecture stakeholders, and to present in committees
• Collibra
• Business data modeling (object or conceptual model, draw.io or equivalent)
• Power BI and Data Quality Management tools
• Data by Design approach and impact assessments on IT projects
• Knowledge of customer and contract data, in a B2C environment
