Data Analyst | POLEv2 | Central Government
c. £365/day Inside IR35
Long-term contract
Mainly remote with occasional London meetings
SC cleared/SC eligible
A consultancy partner is looking for a hands-on Data Analyst to support a long-term central government data programme.
This is not a reporting or dashboard-focused role. The work is centred around analysing, mapping and validating complex source data against a POLE/POLEv2 model covering Person, Object, Location and Event data.
Key experience:
Experience with POLE/POLEv2, policing, law enforcement or complex government operational data would be particularly relevant.

- Strong SQL, including writing and tuning queries
- Data mapping, validation and reconciliation
- Investigating and documenting data quality issues
- Understanding relationships across complex datasets
- Working closely with Data Engineers on data loading and transformation
- Clear communication of findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Agile multidisciplinary delivery
