Project overview
Senior Data Architect - Microsoft Fabric - Inside IR35 - Contract
We're looking for a Senior Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale data and AI solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure. This is a hands-on architecture role defining scalable data platforms, governance and security approaches within a complex enterprise environment.
Responsibilities
Key Skills:
- Lead the architecture and design of Microsoft Fabric-based data and AI solutions
- Define Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver and Gold), data models and integration patterns
- Establish data governance, security, metadata and data quality standards
- Translate business requirements into scalable, practical technical solutions
- Provide architectural guidance and solution assurance throughout implementation
- Support architecture decisions across analytics, AI/GenAI and enterprise data capabilities
- Strong experience designing enterprise-scale data architectures using Microsoft Fabric and Azure data services
- Solid understanding of Medallion Architecture, data modelling and integration patterns
- Experience with data governance, security, metadata and data quality
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Comfortable providing hands-on architectural guidance across complex data and AI programmes

£500/day inside IR35
Fully remote
6 Month Contract (extensions subject to performance)

- Duration: 6 months (extensions)
- Location: United Kingdom, GB
- Rate: 56-63 EUR/h
