About the mission

As part of strengthening a decision-making team at a major life insurance player based in Niort, we are looking for a Data Engineer / BI Developer with solid experience in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI 12c).

You will join an experienced team working on strategic projects related to data valorization, Business Intelligence, and the evolution of the decision-making system.

You will participate in high-visibility projects with business departments (Accounting, Marketing, Statistics, Management, etc.).

Your missions

Analyze functional needs expressed by the business departments

Participate in data model design

Write functional and technical specifications

Develop and maintain data feeds under ODI 12c

Design and evolve Business Objects universes (UNX)

Create reports under SAP BusinessObjects 4.2

Participate in unit testing phases and support acceptance testing

Ensure corrective and evolutionary maintenance of decision-making processes

Contribute to data valorization and Data Visualization work

Profile sought

Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Engineering / Business Intelligence

Mastery of ODI 12c is essential

Good experience with Business Objects (BO 4.2)

Experience in data model design and writing specifications

Good SQL level

Analytical mindset and autonomy

Good interpersonal skills with business teams

A plus

Experience with Tableau Software or Power BI

Use of WIISDOM

Knowledge of Insurance environments

Essential functional skills

Significant experience in the Life Insurance sector is highly desired.
