Data Engineer GCP / BI

Project overview

Mission Context:

As part of the maintenance and modernization of its decision-making system, our client is looking for a Data Engineer GCP / BI to join a team of 5 people specializing in the management and exploitation of HR data.

The current environment is based on a traditional BI architecture, with a progressive migration towards Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

The objective is to ensure the continuity of existing data processing while supporting their evolution towards modern Cloud solutions.

Main Missions:

Development and maintenance of data flows: design, maintain, and evolve HR data processing and integration chains (administrative management, activity time, training, professional development, etc.).

Migration to GCP: participate in the transformation of existing BI processes towards the Google Cloud Platform environment, particularly with BigQuery and Dataform.

BI development and reporting: maintain, improve, and create SAP BusinessObjects (BO) universes, TIBCO Spotfire applications, and Power BI semantic models.

Process optimization: ensure the reliability, quality, and performance of data flows and decision-making solutions.

Cross-functional collaboration: work with members of the HR BI team to meet business needs and support the evolution of Data tools and architectures.
