Data Protection Officer

Project overview

The assignment includes overseeing compliance with GDPR and the Wpg within the ANVS.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Daily monitoring of data processing within the ANVS
• Reviewing and advising on privacy audits and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA's)
• Formulating advice to the ANVS and the board on compliance with GDPR and the Wpg
• Drafting annual supervision plans
• Acting as a point of contact and collaborating with the Dutch Data Protection Authority
• CIPP/E certification
• University education in privacy law, information security, or public administration
• Knowledge of privacy legislation such as GDPR and Wpg and of information security
• Minimum of 4 years of experience at an independent supervisory authority
• 5 years of experience in drafting and testing DPIA's
• In-depth knowledge of GDPR/UAVG and Wpg (5 years)
• 5 years of experience in auditing and monitoring, such as internal controls and privacy audits
• 5 years of experience with the management of data breaches, including recognition, registration, and timely reporting to the AP
• CIPM or DPO certification is a plus
• Affinity with IT is recommended
