Job description
The role involves overseeing compliance with GDPR and the Dutch Personal Data Protection Act (Wpg) within the ANVS, acting as a point of contact for data protection matters.
Project overview
The assignment includes overseeing compliance with GDPR and the Wpg within the ANVS.
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Daily monitoring of data processing within the ANVS
- Reviewing and advising on privacy audits and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA's)
- Formulating advice to the ANVS and the board on compliance with GDPR and the Wpg
- Drafting annual supervision plans
- Acting as a point of contact and collaborating with the Dutch Data Protection Authority
- CIPP/E certification
- University education in privacy law, information security, or public administration
- Knowledge of privacy legislation such as GDPR and Wpg and of information security
- Minimum of 4 years of experience at an independent supervisory authority
- 5 years of experience in drafting and testing DPIA's
- In-depth knowledge of GDPR/UAVG and Wpg (5 years)
- 5 years of experience in auditing and monitoring, such as internal controls and privacy audits
- 5 years of experience with the management of data breaches, including recognition, registration, and timely reporting to the AP
- CIPM or DPO certification is a plus
- Affinity with IT is recommended
