DevOps / Cloud Engineer - Financial Markets - M/F

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced DevOps / Cloud Engineer for a long-term mission with our client in the banking/finance sector in the Paris region. You will join a team responsible for equity derivatives pricing components, at the heart of a rapidly developing market activity. Delivery is agile, in 3-week sprints, with development teams alongside you.

Your missions:

The position is a permanent executive role at Ingéniance, with 2 days of remote work per week.

Profile sought

You are an experienced DevOps or Cloud engineer and have already worked in demanding environments. You are proficient in GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform. You are familiar with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud environments, as well as Prometheus and Grafana monitoring tools. Experience in managing compute grids / HPC (Armonik, DataSynapse, IBM) is expected. You are comfortable with Linux and Python or PowerShell scripting. You enjoy working in an agile team, alongside developers, and you have a passion for automation and reliability.

• Continuously improve the CI/CD chain, in conjunction with the development teams
• Implement service monitoring, logs, and performance
• Migrate services to Kubernetes
• Participate in test automation, including integration and calculation library testing
• Centralize non-regression testing (TNR) processes and monitor releases
• Contribute to the thinking on IT system redesign: APIfication, microservices architecture
• Participate in the migration to the AWS cloud
