Project overview

We are now looking for a DevOps development team within Sitevision for our client, Lunds kommun.

Role description:

Develops applications/IT systems or parts of systems.

Description of competence level:

Knowledge: High knowledge within their area

Experience: 4-8 years as a consultant in the field. Serves as a role model for other consultants at a lower level.

Leadership: Can be responsible for a sub-area, can lead a small group

Independence: Can work independently

Assignment description:

The supplier shall be a partner for development and management (dev/ops) of Sitevision-developed websites.

The partner shall support Lunds kommun in developing their websites on the Sitevision platform.

The client is keen on developing solutions that are easy for inexperienced web editors to use and simple and cost-effective to develop further technically. The supplier shall support them in this.

The websites shall as a starting point be based on Sitevision's standard functionality. Further development and implementation of design, concepts, etc., shall be done in close cooperation with Lunds kommun.

Together with Lunds kommun's product owner for Sitevision, web strategist for intranets, and web strategist for external websites, common needs for functions and templates for the affected websites will be identified.

The supplier's assignment includes support, ongoing management, and further development of the following:

The intranet. intranatet.lund.se

Lund.se and associated sub-sites - for example, Gymnasiewebbar, Coaction Lund, Cross border talent bridge, and Högevallsbadet.

Separate websites (Buildings) Lunds konsthall, International Citizenhub, and Visit Lund.

The websites are developed in Sitevision cloud.

There are a total of 5 separate websites (Buildings) with respective test environments.

The assignment may in the future include more or fewer Sitevision websites within Lunds kommun.

All developed code, configuration, and architecture shall be documented, version-controlled, and, if necessary, handed over to Lunds kommun. The documentation shall be of such quality that the municipality or another supplier can independently further develop and manage the solution with minimal support from the original supplier.

The documentation shall be written in Swedish or English and handed over continuously during the assignment.

For each development effort, the supplier shall document:

All source code developed within the scope of the assignment shall be stored in the version control system designated by Lunds kommun.

2.3.1 Work methods for development and version control:

The supplier shall agree with Lunds kommun on suitable work methods for version control, code review, development flows, and releases.

The work method shall ensure that source code is managed in accordance with the municipality's designated version control system and that Lunds kommun has full insight into the development work.

The work method shall further be designed so that Lunds kommun has control over the source code, documentation, and other development-related assets produced within the assignment after its completion.

Code shall be as self-documenting as possible. Where logic, business rules, or technical solutions are deemed complex, comments shall be included in the code.

For components, modules, scripts, and WebApps in Sitevision, the following shall be documented:

Required skills:

Offered consultants shall have the following competence(s):

Basic staffing for the team is a team lead and two developers.

A team lead. (Minimum Level 3)

A Sitevision developer. (Minimum Level 3)

A senior Sitevision developer. (Level 4)

Experience working with Lunds kommuns current Sitevision environment is a merit.

Other information:

There is a possibility that the client may order additions/extensions to the contract.

Scope approximately 2000 hours in total for the entire team per year.

This can be reduced based on decisions from Lunds kommun.

If needed, there may be a temporary increase in scope with a UX designer, project manager, and other specialists in web competencies such as WordPress, integrations, or user directories within ADFS/EntraID.

Scope of assignment: The scope is estimated at a number of hours/percentage of full-time, namely: 20 hours per week.

Option for extension: Option to extend the contract exists for one (1) year for a maximum of four (4) years in total. Options utilized in this agreement will always be at the already applicable terms.

Option for scope: Yes, there is a possibility that the client may order additions/extensions to the contract.

Place of execution: 95% remote work.

Remuneration form: Ongoing, monthly based on time reporting. No compensation for travel or travel time.
