We are looking for a Senior DevOps/SRE specialist with expertise in Kubernetes and GCP to join a Cloud Engineering/Landing Zone team. The role involves designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure, focusing on networking, automation, and operational reliability.
Project overview
As part of the evolution of its Cloud infrastructures, SKIILS is supporting a major player in mass retail in strengthening its Cloud Engineering / Landing Zone team.
You will join a team of technical experts working on complex environments, with a dual BUILD & RUN dimension, and will participate in several structuring projects planned for 2027.

Technical Environment
- Design, maintain, and evolve Cloud Landing Zones.
- Manage Hub & Spoke network architectures, VPC/VNet, peering, routing, and NAT.
- Optimize IP addressing plans (CIDR, IPAM) and hybrid interconnections (VPN, ExpressRoute, BGP).
- Ensure the security, connectivity, and high availability of infrastructures.
- Automate the deployment and management of infrastructures with Terraform (IaC).
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins).
- Develop and industrialize automation tools, APIs, and YAML configurations.
- Implement infrastructure tests and document technical architectures.
- Ensure the operational maintenance of Cloud infrastructures.
- Implement monitoring with Managed Prometheus, Cloud Monitoring & Logging.
- Track reliability indicators (SLI, SLO, Error Budgets).
- Diagnose and resolve network and application incidents, and contribute to continuous improvement (runbooks, post-mortems).
- Administer firewalls, network flows (Ingress/Egress), and security policies.
- Manage DNS, reverse proxy, load balancing, and TLS certificate issues.
- Work on Application Gateway, NGINX, Envoy, HAProxy, and Traefik environments.
- Support application teams in the secure exposure of their services.
- Cloud: GCP, Azure – AWS experience transferable accepted
- Cloud Networking: VPC, VNet, Hub & Spoke, VPC Peering, NCC, Azure Virtual WAN, VPN, BGP, NAT/eNAT
- Network: CIDR, subnets, IPAM, UDR, routing tables
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform
- Automation: Python, YAML, API
- CI/CD: GitLab CI, Jenkins
- Observability: Managed Prometheus, Cloud Monitoring & Logging, SLI/SLO, Error Budgets
- Security: Palo Alto, firewalls, DNS, TLS
