Digital Accessibility Consultant

Project overview

We are looking for a digital accessibility consultant for a 7/8 month mission, renewable, to be based in Nantes (3 days of remote work per week).

Description:

Context / Objectives:

"Within the Digital Accessibility team of this banking IT department, composed of four people, we design and implement solutions, processes, and support so that the products and services provided by our IT department meet digital accessibility objectives.

The team works in collaboration with the Group (parent company) and the referents of the other entities of the Group to achieve the set objectives.

Responsibilities

Specific Expertise:

• Raise awareness of disability and digital accessibility
• Pre-support teams in the assessment and initial actions to start with accessibility: identification of suitable training, methodology, regulatory obligations, standards, tooling support
• Support operational teams in implementing accessibility: advice and support to teams, sharing best practices
• Analyze compliance with RGAA / RAWeb-RAAM-RAPDF for digital services
• Participation in cross-functional projects
• Monitoring of audits and publications
• Support the deployment of accessibility tools
• Production of documentation, information, and user guides
• Mastery of digital accessibility, regulations, and accessibility standards
• Good knowledge or interest in HTML, CSS, JS (reading and analysis)
• Experience in accessibility analysis
• Comfortable with compliance checks, assistive technologies (screen readers, keyboard navigation, ...), and compliance analysis tools (Wave, AxeDevTools, Fruggr, ...)
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to support, simplify, and facilitate
• Autonomy and ability to propose solutions
