The DWH takes data from many source systems and stores, historizes and transforms the data.

Using Data Vault 2.0 we provide a central data foundation to be used by decentral domain teams for purposes such as financial reporting, commercial steering, Price Adjustments, Campaign Management and Call Centre Steering & Reporting.

During 2027, many of the operational source systems (Billing, CRM) that provide data will be changed, requiring many changes to the data models through both the Data Vault and the presentation layer.

During 2027 and potentially into 2028 the Data Platform will also switch from Snowflake to Databricks (with dbt and Airflow remaining as part of the stack).

• As part of an agile Data Team you design, build, and maintain scalable, efficient, and reliable data models and pipelines
• Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into scalable data solutions
• Re-design and re-build foundational (central) data models based on the new Billng & CRM systems
• Based on business requirements, design and implement specific business data products for areas of the business from Tax, to Sales, to Billing
• Support the migration from Snowflake to Databricks
• Optimize existing data pipelines for performance, cost efficiency, and maintainability
• Main Toolset: Snowflake, dbt (Core), Airflow, AzureDevOps plus eventually Databricks once the new platform is ready
• Strong experience in data warehousing and different types of data architecture and modelling
• Excellent SQL skills required
• Experience of Data Vault 2.0 would be very advantageous
• Experience with Snowflake and dbt strongly preferred, Databricks very advantageous
• Comfortable using Claude Code and Github Copilot to improve productivity / speed up the coding process
• Experience with Airflow and python a plus
• Clear communication in English (C1), to both technical and non technical audiences is a must. German Language skills (B2 or higher) are strongly preferred
• Teamplayer, enjoys working with others and getting the job done as a team.
