Environmental Manager District Renewal (contract)

Project overview

As an environmental manager, you form the link between the municipality, residents, contractor, and utility companies in district renewal.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Coordination between the municipality, residents, contractor, utility companies, and other stakeholders in the project area
• Acting as a point of contact for residents and being quickly present for current issues in the area
• Supporting the senior environmental manager and project manager in internal coordination regarding policy, design, and administrative decision-making
• Developing a participation approach, managing resident communication, and advising on environmental issues
• Contributing to the creation of frameworks and implementation plans for Accessibility, Livability, Safety, and Communication (BLVC)
• Managing the cables and pipelines file, the research file, and the permit process
• Monitoring progress and quality, participating in project meetings, and coordinating interfaces with the project manager and project team
• At least 4 years of experience as a medior environmental manager
• At least 4 years of experience gained within a municipal organization
• Knowledge of and experience with participation in integrated sustainable district renewal projects and replacement projects for sewage and paving
• Experience with collaboration in project teams during all project phases
• HBO work and thinking level
• Work experience in the plan study, preparation, and realization phases
• Collaboration experience within construction teams
• Experience with supporting a senior environmental manager, including with BLVC plans and C&L files
• Experience with large-scale participation processes
• Experience with independently carrying out participation processes and stakeholder management
