Expert Accounting MOA – Accounting Interpretation & Account Justification

Project overview

Our banking client is looking for an Expert Accounting MOA Consultant – Accounting Interpretation & Account Justification (M/F) for a freelance mission.

The mission is part of a transformation program for the financial and accounting information system, aiming to secure accounting processes, ensure reliable reconciliations, and support the implementation of accounting solutions.

Deliverables

• Lead and coordinate Accounting MOA activities on the various project lots, in conjunction with business teams, IT, and the Finance Department.
• Organize functional workshops, monitor deliverables, risks, dependencies, and deadlines.
• Define accounting schemes and rules for interpreting business events.
• Configure accounting interpretation rules, particularly CREs, and analyze accounting translation discrepancies.
• Define rules for account justification and accounting-management reconciliation, particularly for inventory events and account positioning.
• Design and validate bank reconciliation rules, analyze suspense items and discrepancies.
• Work on accounting matching mechanisms and general ledger processing.
• Analyze accounting schemes for financing operations, particularly complex financing, structured credits, and syndication operations.
• Participate in functional specifications, configuration, testing, acceptance, and anomaly tracking.
• Functional specifications and accounting schemes.
• Accounting interpretation rules and configuration files.
• Reconciliation and account justification rules.
• Test and acceptance documents.
• Functional documentation, workshop reports, and anomaly tracking.
• Action plans and progress reporting.
