Expert Cybersecurity Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Senior

Project overview

As part of the continuous strengthening of its global cloud security posture, a leading international group is looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Expert for Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Your mission will consist of auditing current security foundations, challenging target architectures, identifying risks, and co-building a prioritized and actionable roadmap for the technical teams.

Your Missions & Scope of Intervention

Under the supervision of the Cloud Security Manager and in close collaboration with the engineering teams and the SOC/CSIRT, you will intervene on 5 major axes:

Expected Deliverables

Profile Sought

• Identity & Access (IAM): Evaluation of access governance and privileged access management (PAM).
• Data & Network Protection: Audit of security perimeters (VPC Service Controls) and control of network exposure.
• Governance & Guardrails: Analysis of the security baseline and strengthening of organizational policies (Organization Policies).
• Operational Resilience: Review of backup systems and business continuity plans (DRP / Backup).
• Observability & Detection: Optimization of security logs and formalization of integration with the SOC / CSIRT.
• A detailed audit report by area of expertise, including identified gaps and operational recommendations.
• A prioritized roadmap (quick wins, short term, medium term).
• A synthetic final presentation for stakeholders and management.
• Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in cloud cybersecurity, including at least 4 years dedicated to the GCP ecosystem within complex, multi-tenant enterprise environments.
• Key Technical Skills:
• In-depth mastery of IAM, VPC Service Controls, and Organization Policies.
• Solid experience in resilience architecture (Disaster Recovery / Backup on GCP).
• Mastery of security log flows and SIEM / SOC integrations.
• Certifications:
• Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer (mandatory).
• Google Professional Cloud Architect, CISSP, or CCSP (highly appreciated).
• Languages: Fluent English mandatory (international environment); knowledge of French is an asset.
• Modalities: Strict confidentiality agreement (NDA) required before starting.
